Oh Jesus, why on Earth did I spend my 10 dollars on this movie. That's right, I went to go see New Moon. The sequel to the ever loved or hated Twilight movie. Once again the presence of Edward Cullen (as I call him R Patz) made me gag. I'm sorry, but that make up is still horrible. Just because of a new director (Catherine Hardwicke to Chris Weitz) was not that much of a change. It had the same old love clichés, and awkward acting. Except the special effects and the soundtrack was slightly better.
If you have no idea what the whole Twilight saga is about I'll put it in a basic shape: God made the supreme being, aka Edward Cullen, he's a vampire, Bella Swan (Kirsten Stewart) is his number one fan girl, they fall in love. No, I lied it's a vampire movie with an ever so predicting love triangle between Edward, Bella, and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Long story short, Edward wins Bella and Jacob is left to angst.
I may say though, more people laughed at the serious parts (yeah, I was one of those people laughing at the serious parts.) and felt like other people were expecting it to be awful. I was one of those people, but yet I plan on see Eclipse which is coming out this June.
Bottom Line: Wait until DVD.
