So, for my Princess's (aka my father) birthday we went to go see Sherlock Holmes (another family affair without my Grandmother for once). Though I was throughly embarrassed by my Dad's movie theater etiquette, I still enjoyed the movie.
This time, Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his dear friend Watson (Jude Law) are on, well a case. Though movie necessarily doesn't one hundred per cent revolve around the case. It also has to do with Watson's recent engagement to Mary Mortstan (Kelly Reilly). But only as a small side story. On the other hand, the mystery they have to face is the death of Lord Blackwell (Mark Strong), and how he's still killing people. There is no true way to weave in the ending without spoiling it so I won't say anything. Lately I've been seeing ok decent movies. Sherlock Holmes was pretty amazing. I loved loved loved the score I thought it was very good. And for once Watson had a spine, thank God!
Bottom line: Yes yes yes! Go see it, please.
