Thank God for Snow

Since it's been snowing up the waz and that means movie watch! I'm kinda playing catch up so everyone forgive, but no I'm never doing it on GATTACA or Z-Men Origins or Elf and the Santa Claus. So I'l do it on a new Hollywood blockbuster! The Princess and the Frog.
So, in the 12th I went to go see the Princess and the Frog. The movie focuses on 1920s New Orleans. We're greeted by the classic fairytale of a princess kissing a frog and the frog becoming a prince. In means this story holds to the Grimm fairy tale. Tiana (played by Anika Noni Rose), has a few fairy tales of her own, such as having enough money to open a restaurant. Though, when a Prince from some country far away with loads of riches (good looking cartoon princes I may add) comes to town not to meet up with Tiana, but with her good friend Charlotte (childhood friends, because Tiana's mom sewed Charlotte's princess dresses.) But soon, Tiana and Prince Naveen (play by Bruno Campos) team up to get home and become human again.
The story though is a typical Disney movie, singing and themes like believe in yourself. Even though it bothered me how the stereotypes were used. It wasn't necessarily racist, but they all didn't live in harmony together (I mean as in the people)

Bottom Line: Yea sure, go see it. Pretty good and worth the ten bucks.
